[ are surprisingly kind of attractive when she thinks about it as something to look forward to, instead of something real in the here and now (it's not permanent). when it's time to age, they're supposed to do it together, and it's not supposed to be this drastic.]

[ Killian tilts his head for a moment and smiles slowly. He's well aware of what "it works for you" means in Emma Swan's world. That's the best compliment you could likely ask for. ]

[ but that's not really a no, and Emma knows it.]

Well, you'll be treated to specks of gray in my beard as well as my hair on my head.

[ Though it's more streaky in his actual hair. ]

[ He wasn't expecting her to fire back at him with that. Mostly because she usually rebuffs his "attempts". He doesn't mind. Perhaps he's unprepared, but he doesn't show it. That's certainly how you get defeated by Emma Swan. ]

Well, I'd be faster, but someone keeps distracting me.

[ she's doing the best she can while continuing to discuss this with someone who's figured out how to keep her attention. he's only slowing her down, it's his own fault.]

That's only one step ahead, Killian.

[ she can't say she doesn't approve of his methods, but at the same time, she's seen him shirtless plenty of times by now.

and she's resisted all of those times, too.]

Who said that this was the only step?

[ He's just got the one hand, Emma. A hook doesn't help do many things. ]

[sheriffing]

[ they've had months of foreplay, the video hardly feels necessary.]

[ Can you blame him for being wary, Emma? ]

A tad. It's not as if you'd not have reason.

[ He tilts his head. ]

One can only hope you won't.

[ can she blame him? no, but she still knows what he's up to.]

I have reasons in either direction, I just...

[ she shifts out of frame for a moment, the sounds of her in a conversation heard distantly in the background. Olympia's not in the greatest shape right now, so she takes a moment to help someone with a heavier piece of debris before she pops up again.

[ There's a million ways she could decide to handle this. She could easily not show up. She could stand him up and he anticipates it would come with a work called excuse. Or something close.

When she disappears after trailing off it's easy to think the worst, but he's not deaf (just missing a hand). Killian squints and then settles as he waits until she's back. ]

Only if that's what you require. Picking rose petals from my chest hair doesn't sound delightful.

[sheriffing]

No, it'd ruin the whole Forbidden Forest vibe.

[ there's a part of her that doesn't want this to be a big deal. he remembers having sex with her before, so it's not a first for both of them, anyway.

and if that puts her at a disadvantage, that's fine. she's gotten used to it.]

[ okay as in, there's at least a 75% chance of this happening now.]

[ He can only hope he doesn't make it strange. He will perhaps be a tad bit worried about her in his head. There's quite a number of things that could take this from good to bad quickly. They both know that. ]

[ There's a nod. ]

Keep the shirt off, it's a good look for you.

[ she's betting he's going to make it strange, but at the same time, they've already faced worse. being close to him is something she's wanted for a while, she's just held off out of... well, the same fears she's always had.

it's just a night, she can let go of them for long enough to show him exactly how much she wants him beside her.]

[ He looks down and then up with a smile. Finally Killian nods and decides to let her carry on her walk in silence. It'll be faster and it'll give her time to think and make a decision on if she truly does want this. He would prefer her know when arriving rather than deciding on that halfway in the middle. Not that he'd be upset, but it would just make things a tad easier.

Killian does set the dog up somewhere else where he wont interrupt anything potentially happening. He doesn't really trust him not to figure out some way to put an end to this moment. ]
