( Emma will find a box outside her door, containing not one but two books. one is far more familiar. the other ought to be less so. she'll find the second is empty, though a note is tucked between the front cover and the first page. it reads:
when I saw this, I knew it was better off in your hands. looking through it I was disappointed to see how little of your story is in it.
I know that being away from your son and your family is difficult for you. it's not the same as being with them, but I thought maybe you could write about the adventures you're having here. I know Henry would like to hear them, when you see him again.
