It'll be faster and it'll give her time to think and make a decision on if she truly does want this. He would prefer her know when arriving rather than deciding on that halfway in the middle. Not that he'd be upset, but it would just make things a tad easier.
Killian does set the dog up somewhere else where he wont interrupt anything potentially happening. He doesn't really trust him not to figure out some way to put an end to this moment. ]
[ would it surprise him to hear that she stalls, just enough to drag out her walk a little longer? with so many people in need of help, it's not that hard to find someone who could use a little magic, or another pair of hands. and in the end, it's not because she doesn't want to go home to him.
it's because she does, and what that might mean for them. so it takes twenty minutes when it should only take ten, but she assumes she's the only one keeping track. he's the one who remembers this, she's the one going in blind. it's probably not nearly as nerve-wracking for him as it is for her.
